To create a new video project, tap the in the lower right corner of the Project List screen of the app.
Switch the camera toggle, located above the record button, to ON.
Once in the Record view you can use the on-screen settings to control which camera to use (rear-facing or front-facing), quality (4k or HD resolution), and frame rate (30fps or 24fps or 60fps), whether you see a grid overlay, and exposure.
These settings will be maintained for any new video projects until they are adjusted again.
If you are running iOS 26 on an iPhone 13 or higher, excluding the iPhone Air, 16E, and 17E, you can also choose between Standard or Cinematic Mode using the toggle at the top of the screen. Cinematic Mode adds depth of field to your video recordings, and allows you to adjust aperture to control background blur.
Note: Resolution and frame rate options may vary based on device model and selected camera (front versus rear)
