The quality of your recordings may vary based on a number of factors such as the environment you are recording in, how close the mic is to the sound source, the recording level you have the mic set to, and more.
The most important adjustments you can make are placement of the mic and recording level settings. Whenever possible, do a soundcheck and test recording and listen back to make sure you like the sound quality before continuing to record.
For placement, be sure the front of the mic that has the power button and LED is facing towards the main sound source. Then depending on how loud the sound source is you may want to place the mic closer or further away
To do a soundcheck and adjust the recording level in the app, tap the in the bottom right corner of the Project List screen to create a new project, then tap on the Soundcheck button to bring up the sound meter and slider adjustment. While the sound source is active, adjust the slider so the indicator never enters the yellow or red levels.
